Knit Nike+ Sensor Pouch

I use Nike+ but I don’t wear Nike shoes. All of us non-Nike shoes runners have the same problem - “How to attach the sensor to the shoe?” Because only Nike running shoes have a slot to place the sensor.

There are several DIY solutions, and there are also commercial solutions readily available, but it is relatively expensive, and didn’t guarantee the sensor fell out from the holder (I know 2 friends that had this happened to them).

The Knit Nike+ Sensor Pouch is a result of my experience as a knitter and runner. It is hand-knit in the round using double pointed needles with Orion acrylic yarn. This ensures the pouch is snug, well fitting, washable, and movable to other shoe.

Color option: Neon Yellow, Blue, Purple, Baby Pink, Hot Pink, Orange.

Motif: by special request.

How to use

1. Insert the Nike+ sensor into the pouch, front side facing up

2. Fold the strap towards the back, and loop it through your shoe’s lace. Suggestion: let the strap loop under at least 2 rows of shoe’s lace to ensure the sensor doesn’t bounce too much

3. Pull the end of the strap to the front side, fasten the button

4. Ready to run with your Nike+!
